Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Second Cook to join our team at 100 Mile House Holdings Ltd. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for assisting in the preparation and cooking of meals, as well as maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.

Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation: Assist in the preparation and cooking of complete meals or individual dishes and foods.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
  • Team Supervision: Supervise kitchen staff and helpers, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Clean kitchen and work areas, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for staff and customers.
  • Supply Ordering: Order supplies and equipment as needed, ensuring timely delivery and minimizing waste.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a kitchen environment.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Work Environment

This is a permanent, full-time position, working 35 to 40 hours per week. The work environment is physically demanding, with frequent standing and lifting of heavy loads.

The primary language of work is English.
