About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Coordinator to join our team at Thunder Transport Solutions. As an Administrative Coordinator, you will play a critical role in supporting our operations and ensuring the smooth day-to-day functioning of our office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Train Colleagues

You will be responsible for supervising and training other workers to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.

Establish Office Procedures

You will determine and establish office procedures and routines to ensure efficiency and productivity.

Schedule Appointments and Manage Communications

You will schedule and confirm appointments, answer telephone calls and relay messages, and respond to electronic enquiries in a timely and professional manner.

Manage Office Supplies and Inventory

You will order office supplies and maintain inventory to ensure that our office is well-stocked and equipped to meet our needs.

Provide Excellent Customer Service

You will provide exceptional customer service to our clients and stakeholders, responding to their inquiries and concerns in a prompt and professional manner.

Support Diversity and Inclusion Initiatives

You will provide diversity and cross-cultural training to create a welcoming work environment for newcomers and refugees, and provide cultural competency training to all employees to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers.

Requirements
  • Education

You must have a college, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.

Experience

You must have 1 to less than 7 months of experience in an administrative role.

Language

You must be fluent in English.

Work Hours

You must be available to work 30 to 40 hours per week.
