Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Front Desk Manager to join our team at Alpine Motel. As a key member of our hotel operations team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing front desk operations, and supervising staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to guests, responding to their inquiries and resolving any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Front Desk Operations: Manage the front desk, including checking in and out guests, handling room assignments, and processing payments.
  • Staff Supervision: Supervise and train front desk staff, ensuring they are providing excellent customer service and meeting hotel standards.
  • Problem-Solving: Address and resolve guest complaints and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with guests, staff, and management to ensure seamless hotel operations.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a similar role.
  • Computer and Technology Knowledge: Proficient in MS Word, Central Reservation System (CRS), and MS Excel.
  • Security and Safety: Basic security clearance.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with attention to detail, and a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
