We are seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team at SSP Canada. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking food to a high standard, ensuring that all dishes are presented to the highest quality.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and cook food to order, following recipes and presentation guidelines.
- Handle, store, and rotate food products properly to maintain quality and safety.
- Ensure regular maintenance, cleaning, and proper functioning of assigned equipment and machines.
- Complete opening and closing procedures, including cleaning and sanitizing the kitchen area.
- Practice general and specific cleanings using the appropriate products as indicated by the manager to meet hygiene standards.
- One year minimum experience working in a food service environment.
- High school diploma, preferred.
- Verbal and written communication is essential.
- Ability to read, speak, and understand the English language.
- Food handlers permit.
- Ability to stand and work in confined spaces for long periods of time.
