Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducts various administrative functions including the onboarding and offboarding of nursing staff, setting up Concur accounts, and managing IT requests.
  • Gathers and synthesizes information from multiple sources to create comprehensive reports.
  • Maintains and updates essential business documentation and records.
  • Supports a range of scheduled and ad-hoc projects within the region.
  • Collaborates regularly with other administrative professionals and management to address workload challenges and coordinate coverage during absences.
  • Fosters and sustains positive and professional relationships with colleagues and leadership.
  • Adheres to all relevant policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
  • Keeps training records for field nurses and provides updates to Business Area Managers and Directors of Nursing Operations.
  • Works collaboratively with fellow Regional Administrative Assistants to standardize processes on a national level.
  • Monitors the Homecare tracker and follows up with nursing staff to ensure task completion.
  • Reviews Homecare audits and coordinates with Business Area Managers for follow-up actions.
  • Performs additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Post-secondary education in a relevant field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in an administrative capacity.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Demonstrated accuracy in handling large volumes of data.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances and learn new skills.
  • Bilingual proficiency in French and English is preferred.
  • Effective oral and written communication abilities.
  • Strong analytical, mathematical, and organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Proven problem-solving capabilities and the ability to resolve issues efficiently.
  • Ability to maintain a professional demeanor and present a positive image.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Smart Sheets.
  • Experience in implementing processes that ensure satisfactory audit outcomes.
  • Consistent ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong business and financial acumen is an asset.
