Your Role:

This position necessitates on-site presence and is integral to the operations of community health initiatives. Reporting to the Area Coordinator/Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting various health programs by: managing client documentation, overseeing database entries, and maintaining organized filing systems; executing procurement tasks and managing inventory, tracking systems, and providing relevant information to management as needed; delivering comprehensive reception and registration services to clients as a backup while also assisting management, staff, and the public; processing payments and performing essential accounting duties; reaching out to clients, scheduling appointments, and addressing inquiries; facilitating communication, information exchange, and reporting; offering administrative assistance to the office; and serving as a resource for management and staff. This role demands a solid foundation in computer skills and a thorough understanding of policies and procedures related to community-based health services.

Position Overview:

As a Senior Administrative Coordinator, you will leverage advanced administrative skills and specialized knowledge to support intricate procedures, practices, and initiatives within the department.

Essential Qualifications:

Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent.

Additional Required Qualifications:

The ideal candidate must possess: A post-secondary Administrative Certificate or a combination of education and relevant experience acceptable to the Employer. Proven accuracy and proficiency in intermediate computer and typing skills; a minimum typing speed of 40 wpm is required. Assessment will be conducted. Demonstrated expertise in utilizing Word, Excel, Outlook Calendar, and other applications within the Windows Office Suite is required. Assessment will be conducted. A minimum of two years of practical office experience. The ability to collaborate effectively with managers and staff across various departments. Evidence of exceptional customer service in a dynamic, multi-tasking environment serving staff, management, clients, and the public with both internal and external services. Demonstrated adaptability to new situations, changes, and data systems. The ability to exercise sound judgment, professionalism, diplomacy, and discretion while maintaining confidentiality. Capacity to manage stress effectively and demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, prioritizing tasks to work efficiently and in an organized manner. Must be capable of pushing and pulling wheeled carts exceeding 25 kg. Must be able to walk, sit, or stand for extended periods. Must regularly use hands and arms to reach, lift, and carry items up to 25 kg. Must be able to navigate stairs and/or use a step stool. Must be able to continuously wear a medical mask.

Preferred Qualifications:

Familiarity with health information systems and community-based applications.
