Restaurant Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Manager to join our team at Sushi Sen Japanese Restaurant. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining a high level of food quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities:- Budgeting and Cost Control: Develop and manage the restaurant's budget to determine the cost of food, ingredients, alcohol, kitchen and cleaning supplies.
- Operations Evaluation: Regularly evaluate the restaurant's daily operations to identify areas for improvement and implement changes as needed.
- Staff Performance: Monitor and manage staff performance, providing feedback and coaching to ensure high standards are met.
- Daily Operations Planning: Plan and organize daily operations, including menu planning, inventory management, and supply chain logistics.
- Staff Recruitment and Supervision: Recruit, train, and supervise staff to ensure a high level of customer service and food quality.
- Performance Reviews: Conduct regular performance reviews to assess staff performance and provide feedback for improvement.
- Health and Safety: Ensure that all health and safety regulations are followed, maintaining a clean and safe environment for customers and staff.
- Supplier Negotiations: Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies, ensuring the best possible prices and quality.
- Customer Service: Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and timely manner.
- Permanent Position: This is a permanent position, offering stability and security for the right candidate.
- English Language: English is the primary language spoken in the restaurant, and proficiency is required.
- Hours of Work: The successful candidate will work approximately 30-40 hours per week, with flexibility to adapt to changing business needs.
