Job Description

TV2 Consulting is seeking a highly skilled Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to lead our testing efforts and ensure the highest quality of our software products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Test Planning and Execution: Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, oversee the design, planning, development, and execution phases of the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
  • Quality Assurance Strategy: Develop and manage the Quality Assurance (QA) strategy, incorporating both automation initiatives using Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) and manual testing techniques.
  • Accessibility Testing: Lead accessibility testing efforts for web applications, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Test Coordination: Plan, schedule, and coordinate test activities within the team, ensuring efficient execution and meeting project deadlines.
  • Progress Monitoring: Monitor and report on the progress of test execution, identifying and addressing any issues or roadblocks.
  • Documentation: Document and manage the detailed execution plan for all testing cycles, ensuring transparency and accountability.
  • Team Guidance: Provide guidance, coordination, and coaching to development team members supporting QA activities, promoting a culture of quality and excellence.
  • External Partnerships: Liaise with external partners to ensure effective and timely delivery, fostering strong relationships and communication.
  • Automated Testing: Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts, leveraging industry-leading tools and technologies.
  • Mentorship: Mentor developers on best practices in test automation, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge needed to deliver high-quality software.
  • Regression Testing: Conduct thorough regression testing to ensure bug fixes do not affect existing functionality, maintaining the integrity of our software products.
  • Testing Processes: Develop and implement testing processes for new and existing products, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and reliability.
  • Quality Metrics: Design, implement, and track quality assurance metrics, providing insights and recommendations for process improvements.
  • Industry Knowledge: Stay informed about the latest testing tools and strategies, continuously improving testing practices and staying ahead of industry trends.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality assurance engineering, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality software products.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes, with expertise in the full testing life cycle.
  • Automation Experience: Proficient in using automated testing tools, with hands-on experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
  • Agile Experience: Experience working in an Agile team environment, with a strong understanding of Agile principles and practices.
