About the Opportunity

We are seeking a Senior Software Quality Engineer to join our Branch Technology team at the Royal Bank of Canada. As a key member of our agile squads, you will partner with business partners and Site Reliability Engineering teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize quality assurance needs
  • Develop and execute test plans to ensure software meets business requirements
  • Identify and report defects, and work with development teams to resolve issues
  • Provide guidance and support to junior quality assurance engineers
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure our software solutions remain competitive
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance
  • Strong understanding of software development life cycles and testing methodologies
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
