Job Title: Senior Software Engineer in Test (SDET)

Your Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate seamlessly as a member of Agile teams, working closely with developers and product managers to ensure high-quality software development.
  • Actively participate in project planning activities and Agile ceremonies, contributing to the efficient execution of sprints and releases.
  • Proactively identify, escalate, and mitigate potential risks to product quality throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Expand API and UI test coverage based on evolving product requirements, ensuring comprehensive testing strategies.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of our automation framework, enhancing efficiency and effectiveness of testing processes.
  • Design, build, and maintain robust test tools and services that streamline testing efforts and improve overall software quality.
  • Execute thorough regression tests for application releases, verifying functionality and identifying potential issues before deployment.
  • Promote best practices related to quality assurance and testability within the development team, fostering a culture of excellence.

Required Qualifications:

  • Proven experience working in Agile software development environments.
  • Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience in test automation using relevant technologies.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, and/or TypeScript.
  • Strong ability to train colleagues on technical aspects of testing and quality assurance.
  • Experience in creating comprehensive and effective test plans that address diverse software functionalities.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in developing and maintaining automated test frameworks from scratch.
  • Expertise in building service-level automation tests to ensure comprehensive coverage of backend functionalities.
  • Familiarity with UI testing libraries and tools for validating user interface interactions.
  • Proficiency in additional programming languages such as Python, TypeScript, and/or Scala.
  • Experience within the airline industry or travel technology sector.
