Job Description

**Job Title:** High School Principal

**Job Summary:** We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced High School Principal to lead our High School team at Whistler Waldorf School. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing strategic leadership, managing day-to-day operations, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality education to our students.

Key Responsibilities:
  • **Leadership:** Provide strategic leadership to the High School team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality education to our students.
  • **Management:** Manage day-to-day operations, including staff supervision, student discipline, and parent communication.
  • **Curriculum:** Develop and implement curriculum plans, ensuring alignment with Waldorf education principles and provincial standards.
  • **Assessment:** Develop and implement assessment strategies, ensuring accurate and timely reporting of student progress.
  • **Communication:** Foster positive relationships with parents, staff, and students, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
  • **Risk Management:** Identify and mitigate risks, ensuring the safety and well-being of students and staff.
Requirements:
  • **Education:** Bachelor's degree in Education or related field, with a focus on Waldorf education principles.
  • **Experience:** 5+ years of teaching experience, with 3+ years of leadership experience in a school setting.
  • **Certifications:** Fully certified teacher in BC, with a current Criminal Record Check.
  • **Skills:** Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to foster team-based relationships and manage day-to-day operations.
