High School Principal Position

Whistler Waldorf School is seeking a qualified leader to serve as the High School Principal. This is a full-time position that requires a strong educational background and leadership experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide day-to-day leadership to the High School faculty, staff, and students.
  • Supervise and evaluate the Lower School, High School, and Student Support Chairs.
  • Monitor and track Key Performance Indicators as identified in the school's Strategic Plan.
  • Collaborate with the Operational Management Team to set measurable annual goals for the school.
Requirements
  • Fully certified teacher in BC (or eligible to apply for a BC license) with a bachelor's degree in their specialty or equivalent post-secondary graduation, diploma, and/or technical certificate.
  • 5+ years of teaching experience and preferred candidates will have 3+ years of educational leadership experience.
  • Familiar with Waldorf school philosophy, including educational principles, techniques, and methods through practical experience and ideally holds Waldorf teacher training credentials.
  • Experienced in human resources, including hiring and firing, evaluation, progressive discipline techniques, and personnel administration.
  • Proficient in working with computers, specifically Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Focused dedication to the mission and vision of Whistler Waldorf School.
