High School Principal Opportunity at Whistler Waldorf School

We are seeking a qualified leader to serve as the day-to-day leader of our High School. The successful candidate will be responsible for upholding the legal and pedagogical requirements for operating a Waldorf school in British Columbia, including curriculum planning, delivery, assessment, and student safety.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide day-to-day leadership to faculty, staff, students, and parents/guardians
  • Supervise and evaluate Lower School, High School, and Student Support Chairs
  • Monitor and track Key Performance Indicators as identified in our Strategic Plan
  • Collaborate with Operational Management Team to set measurable annual goals
  • Conduct or oversee faculty performance evaluations
  • Ensure faculty compliance with all policies and procedures
  • Oversee progress report writing and ensure educational quality through regular program review and improvement
Requirements:
  • Fully certified teacher in BC (or eligible to apply for a BC license)
  • 5+ years of teaching experience and 3+ years of educational leadership experience
  • Familiarity with Waldorf school philosophy and techniques
  • Experience in human resources, including hiring and firing, evaluation, and personnel administration
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
