ComForCare Caregiver Job in Toronto North York

We are seeking a compassionate and caring Personal Support Worker (PSW) to join our team at ComForCare in Toronto North York. As a PSW, you will provide companionship and respite services for our clients, helping them to live their best lives possible.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide companionship and respite services for clients
  • Assist with medication reminders and medication management
  • Perform homemaking activities such as cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation
  • Assist with personal care and hygiene
  • Provide emotional support and companionship
Requirements:
  • Successful completion of a Provincial-approved Personal Support Worker course
  • At least six months experience as a Caregiver (in homes or facilities)
  • Has a Police Vulnerable Sector Reference Check or willing to obtain within 6 months
  • Ability to read, write, speak and understand English as needed for the job
  • Ability to do light-cleaning and lifting (transferring clients, repositioning, and laundry)
