We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Support Worker (PSW) to join our team in North York. As a PSW, you will provide companionship and respite services for families, assisting with daily living activities and promoting independence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide companionship and social support to clients
  • Assist with medication reminders and medication management
  • Perform homemaking activities, including cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation
  • Assist with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Provide transportation and accompaniment to appointments
Requirements:
  • Successful completion of a Provincial-approved Personal Support Worker course
  • At least six months experience as a Caregiver (in homes or facilities)
  • Police Vulnerable Sector Reference Check or willingness to obtain within 6 months
  • Ability to read, write, speak and understand English as needed for the job
  • Ability to do light-cleaning and lifting (transferring clients, repositioning, and laundry)
