Key Responsibilities

  • Driver Management
    • Recruit, train, and develop a team of drivers to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide excellent service.
    • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback to drivers to help them improve their performance.
  • Route Planning and Optimization
    • Review and optimize delivery routes to ensure that they are efficient and effective.
    • Work with drivers to ensure that they have the necessary resources and support to complete their routes on time.
  • Customer Service
    • Respond to customer inquiries and resolve any issues in a timely and professional manner.
    • Work with customers to understand their needs and preferences and provide solutions to meet those needs.
  • Logistics and Operations
    • Oversee the loading and unloading of vehicles to ensure that they are properly secured and that all necessary documentation is completed.
    • Work with the warehouse team to ensure that all necessary materials and supplies are available for delivery.
  • Performance Metrics and Reporting
    • Track and analyze key performance metrics, such as on-time delivery rates and customer satisfaction scores.
    • Provide regular reports to management on the performance of the delivery team and identify areas for improvement.

Requirements

  • 3 years of experience in a logistics or supply chain role.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
