We are seeking a skilled and motivated Program Manager to join our dynamic team focused on developing cutting-edge technology and products for optical communications, industrial, and consumer applications. As part of our inclusive team, you will engage in continuous learning and improvement while contributing to the development of industry-leading products.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a cross-functional team as the Program Manager for the development and launch of complex optical products.
- Develop, oversee, and manage program plans in collaboration with engineering teams.
- Take full ownership and accountability for project planning and delivery, ensuring alignment with stakeholders and executive management.
- Collaborate with team members on conceptual design, vendor interactions, prototyping, testing, and performance evaluation.
- Identify opportunities for process enhancements across project teams by challenging the status quo and fostering innovative thinking.
Essential Qualifications
- Strong leadership abilities, combining critical thinking with effective communication skills.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience managing complex R&D programs with a focus on advanced product development.
- Ability to navigate ambiguous situations and develop clear resolutions.
- Proficient in stakeholder communication and management.
- Understanding of product life cycles, business processes, and project planning tools.
- Comfortable and effective in direct customer interactions.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with wafer fabrication, including MEMS and CMOS technologies.
- Familiarity with liquid crystal, software, photonics, optics, mechanical design, and/or electronics.
- Experience in conceptual design, vendor engagement, testing, and performance assessment.
- Structured program management certifications such as PMI (PMP, PgMP), Scrum, Six Sigma, or PRINCE2.
- Background in R&D and/or manufacturing of complex systems.
- Knowledge of Contract Manufacturer (CM) assembly capabilities and business processes.
- Experience working with geographically distributed teams and partners.
- Familiarity with tools such as Miro, Confluence, JIRA, Oracle, and Agile methodologies.
- Advanced degree in optical, electrical, physics, computer science, or related technical fields.
- Understanding of six-sigma techniques, including design for manufacturability/reliability (DFx), SPC, and ISO9001/TL9000 requirements.
