Job Title: Product Delivery Manager

The Parliament of Canada is seeking a highly skilled Product Delivery Manager to lead the development and delivery of high-value features in the Digital Media and Connected Systems team.

As a Product Delivery Manager, you will be responsible for leading product delivery teams throughout the entire product development lifecycle, driving the roadmap, and ensuring the successful delivery of features. You will collaborate with stakeholders to gather feedback and prioritize features, all aimed at providing an exceptional customer experience.

You will be dedicated to continuous product improvement, monitoring and refining components, coordinating backlog priorities, and swiftly resolving impediments that might hinder task completion. Building and maintaining robust stakeholder relationships is paramount, and you will align product development with our business strategy, manage non-functional requirements, and address technical debt.

You will prioritize features, assess their value, and develop user stories, all while efficiently resolving product-related issues and providing necessary documentation. Collaboration with fellow Product Delivery Managers is crucial to ensure work synchronization, minimize duplication, and support the overall product strategy.

You will lead identifying and analyzing technical requirements and translating the product strategy into actionable roadmaps. Managing the resources and budgets of the product delivery team will be a critical aspect of your role, contributing to the formulation of long-term business plans and budgets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead product delivery teams throughout the entire product development lifecycle
  • Drive the roadmap and ensure the successful delivery of high-value features
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather feedback and prioritize features
  • Monitor and refine components, coordinate backlog priorities, and resolve impediments
  • Align product development with business strategy, manage non-functional requirements, and address technical debt
  • Prioritize features, assess their value, and develop user stories
  • Efficiently resolve product-related issues and provide necessary documentation
  • Manage resources and budgets of the product delivery team

Requirements:

  • Diploma or degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or an acceptable combination of education, training, and experience related to the work
  • Experience working in a professional EISS (Enterprise Integrated Security Systems) equipment and Connected Systems Environment
  • Demonstrated leadership and experience in EISS (Enterprise Integrated Security Systems) equipment and connected systems
  • Experience communicating with various audience levels within the organization
  • Experience providing strategic recommendations to stakeholders
  • Experience managing processes and projects with multiple stakeholders and uncovering process improvements
  • Experience implementing process and project activities into tools, Azure DevOps
  • Experience creating templates to automate processes into tools, Azure DevOps
  • Experience managing processes in ITSM tools, assist and ServiceNow

Assets:

  • Experience leading and/or managing multidisciplinary teams
  • Knowledge of various technical equipment
  • Knowledge of the principles of electronics
  • Knowledge of how to assemble equipment racks
  • Experience and/or training in programming systems
  • Knowledge of the principles of network computing

In order to ensure seamless delivery of services and operations, Digital Services and Real Property operates under a 24/7 support model. Depending on the support required, some work activities related to this role may require working irregular hours, overtime, or providing on-call support to meet operational requirements.
