About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Director to lead our Access and Flow team at Interior Health Authority. As a key member of our Clinical Operations Leadership Team, you will play a critical role in planning, delivering, and evaluating services to improve patient access and flow across our continuum of care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide senior leadership and direction to the development, implementation, and assessment of Access and Flow strategies, reporting, and best practices in patient flow.
  • Chair the Access and Flow committees and partner with Information Management & Information Technology leadership in the deployment and prioritization of bed management systems.
  • Oversee and provide leadership and direction to the Patient Transport Office.
  • Establish and maintain strategic partnerships with internal and external partners to respond to emergency events.
  • Develop and implement strategies, program & service objectives, and operations that support patient-focused seamless care during emergency events.
