Job Title: Senior Structural Engineer

Nordmin Engineering Ltd. is seeking a highly skilled Senior Structural Engineer to lead our structural engineering team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and managing structural projects from conceptual through to construction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead structural teams in completing design work for mining and industrial projects.
  • Develop project schedules, estimates, and resource requirements.
  • Collaborate with senior management to drive business objectives.
  • Provide technical oversight and mentorship to junior staff.
  • Develop structural designs, including calculations, analysis, and seismic design.
  • Ensure effective communication between disciplines and management.
  • Undertake site visits, inspections, and assessments.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering.
  • Registered Professional Engineer in Canada and/or USA.
  • 10+ years of experience in engineering design and management.
  • Excellent knowledge of structural theory, building codes, and design standards.
  • Working knowledge of structural analysis and design software.
  • Demonstrated project management experience.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
