Aviation Infrastructure Co-op Student Opportunity

Hatch is seeking a dynamic and motivated Civil Engineering student to join our Aviation Group as a co-op student. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work on exciting and challenging infrastructure projects, applying your skills and knowledge to support design and on-site field reviews.

Responsibilities
  • Work closely with project engineers and designers to develop and implement design solutions for aviation infrastructure projects.
  • Use industry-standard software, including AutoCAD, MicroStation, and DIALux, to create and analyze designs.
  • Conduct field reviews and inspections to ensure compliance with design specifications and industry standards.
  • Assist with preparation of quantity take-offs and cost estimates for project proposals.
  • Support the development of design reports and drawings for project delivery.
Qualifications
  • Currently enrolled in a Civil Engineering co-op program from an accredited university or college.
  • Good academic standing and strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Basic knowledge of AutoCAD and/or MicroStation, with a desire to learn and apply industry-standard software.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently, with excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Collaborative team player with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
