Capital Program Planner

The purpose of this role is to promote the integrity of NSH building architectural infrastructure by aligning planning efforts with the organization's health services plans and departmental strategic objectives.
This involves:
- Strategic planning and coordination of the three NSH Capital Programs: Repair & Renewal, Capital Medical Equipment, and Clinical Capital.
- Collaboration with peers and management to plan and implement the three NSH Capital Programs.
- Preliminary assessment of requirements for Major Capital program projects submitted for consideration.
- Coordination with Major Capital Program initiatives of other Departments in support of NSH.
About You
We are seeking a highly experienced professional with a Bachelor's Degree in Architecture and significant planning experience in healthcare. The ideal candidate will have:
- 5 years minimum experience in architectural systems assessment, planning, design, and specification development.
- 6 years required experience in all aspects of capital program development and implementation.
- Current knowledge of the Building Code, Occupational Health & Safety Act, Environmental regulations, and ASHRAE standards.
- Ability to effectively prioritize and address simultaneous customer concerns while maintaining adherence to standards.
- Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred.
