About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and caring ECE Assistant to join our team at Little Creations Childcare Centre. As an ECE Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the daily operations of our childcare centre and contributing to the development of our young learners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Care and Education of Children
    • Provide high-quality care and education to infants and toddlers, ensuring their physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development.
    • Assist early childhood educators in planning and implementing programs that promote learning and development.
  • Supporting the Team
    • Work collaboratively with early childhood educators and other staff members to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
    • Assist with administrative tasks, such as maintaining records and preparing reports.
  • Centre Operations
    • Contribute to the daily operations of the childcare centre, including meal preparation and cleaning.
    • Assist with maintaining a safe and healthy environment, including adhering to licensing regulations and guidelines.
Requirements
  • Education and Qualifications
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
    • Child development assistant (ECE level 1) or child development worker (ECE level 2) certification.
  • Experience and Skills
    • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a childcare setting.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
  • Security and Safety
    • Basic security clearance.
    • Criminal record check.
    • Immunization records.
