Job Opportunity: Child and Youth Care Worker - Casual

School District No. 42 (SD42) is seeking a Casual Child and Youth Care Worker to join our team. As a Casual Child and Youth Care Worker, you will assist with the implementation of universal, targeted, and intensive supports to foster social/emotional learning within school communities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with the implementation of child and youth care programs and services
  • Provide support to students with diverse needs and backgrounds
  • Collaborate with school staff and community partners to promote student well-being
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge
Requirements:
  • Successful completion of Grade 12 and Child/Youth Care Worker Diploma
  • Experience working with at-risk students an asset
  • Ability to work harmoniously and communicate effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Valid B.C. Driver's license
