Position Overview:

The Senior Human Resources Generalist will provide HR support and services to our location, handling people and culture, employee relations, policy and legislation knowledge, and administrative tasks. This role requires proficiency in HRIS systems and the ability to work closely with the Regional Human Resources Managers and HR team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide HR advice and guidance on matters related to legislation, policy, and employee relations.
  • Develop and assist with policies and projects in collaboration with the Regional Human Resources Managers and HR team.
  • Manage and organize administrative activities, including employee file maintenance and HRIS system utilization.
  • Full cycle recruitment, including attracting candidates, preparing job postings, conducting interviews, and onboarding new employees.
  • Support the Annual Performance Review process and work closely with Payroll as necessary.
  • Liaise with the Health and Safety team on health and safety-related matters.

Requirements:

  • Degree or Diploma in Human Resources Management or Business Administration or Human Resources is required.
  • Working towards or attained CHRP Designation is preferred.
  • Seven (7) plus years preferably in a HR Generalist role with employee relations experience.
  • Seven (7) plus years experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment is preferred.
  • Proven organizational skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and experience with HRIS systems.
