About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Site Inspector to join our team at IBI Group. As a Site Inspector, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and safety of our infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct field inspections and reviews to ensure compliance with project specifications and regulations.
  • Verify the quality of construction materials and workmanship.
  • Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and addressing any issues or concerns.
  • Collaborate with project teams to ensure effective communication and coordination.
  • Develop and maintain accurate records and reports of inspections and findings.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance on construction quality assurance and control.
  • Participate in quality control and assurance processes to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Requirements:

  • Civil Engineering Technologist Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in field inspection and construction quality assurance.
  • Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and techniques.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and Windows applications.
  • Valid Ontario Driver's License and a reliable vehicle.
