RhynoCare is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the Deep River area. As a Registered Nurse, you will provide high-quality nursing care to our residents, ensuring their physical, psychological, and emotional well-being.

Responsibilities
  • Provide nursing care in accordance with established policies, physician's orders, and the resident's plan of care.
  • Utilize sound nursing practice principles to deliver excellent nursing and personal care in the assigned home area(s).
  • Ensure timely and accessible admissions for residents, including comprehensive orientation to the home and its services.
  • Ensure resident transfers and discharges are timely and safe.
  • Ensure the safekeeping of drugs and narcotics, and follow protocols on all assigned shifts.
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care to meet the physical, psychological, emotional, spiritual, cultural, and social needs of residents.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN), Bachelor of Nursing (BN), or equivalent.
  • Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the College of Nurses.
  • Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.
  • Basic computer proficiency.
  • Valid First Aid and CPR Certificate.
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Deal with others in an effective, compassionate, and supportive manner.
  • Respect each resident as an individual and be aware of their need for self-respect and privacy.
  • Knowledge of the Long Term Care Act, Program Standards for Long Term Care, and other pertinent Federal, Provincial, and Municipal Statutes.
  • Medical Clearance, including TB tests.
  • Vulnerable Sector Police Check and/or Adult Abuse Registry Check.
  • Clear Criminal Record check.

All staff are required to provide proof of vaccination, adhere to COVID-19 prevention protocols, and wear a mask at all times.
