Job Description

**Job Title:** Registered Nurse

**Job Summary:** We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at RhynoCare. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to our residents.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide Nursing Care: Deliver excellent nursing care to residents in accordance with established policies, physician's orders, and the resident plan of care.
  • Assess and Plan Care: Conduct thorough assessments of residents' physical, psychological, emotional, spiritual, cultural, and social needs, and develop individualized care plans to meet their needs.
  • Implement and Evaluate Care: Implement care plans and evaluate their effectiveness, making adjustments as needed to ensure the best possible outcomes for residents.
  • Manage Medications: Ensure the safe and effective management of medications, including ordering, administering, and monitoring their use.
  • Communicate Effectively: Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination and resident satisfaction.
  • Document Care: Accurately and thoroughly document resident care, including progress notes, medication administration records, and other relevant information.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) or equivalent.
  • Registration: Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the College of Nurses.
  • Certifications: Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification and valid First Aid and CPR Certificate.
  • Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, basic computer proficiency, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Knowledge: Knowledge of the Long Term Care Act, Program Standards for Long Term Care, and other relevant legislation and regulations.
  • Clearances: Vulnerable Sector Police Check and/or Adult Abuse Registry Check, and a clear Criminal Record check.
