Southbridge Health Care LP is a leading provider of Long-Term Care Homes and Retirement Homes in Ontario. We are seeking a Senior Human Resources Business Partner to deliver expert support and guidance to our Corporate office and leaders of our LTC and Retirement homes.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide strategic HR guidance to our team of HR Business Partners, ensuring they deliver high-quality HR services across the organization.
- Collaborate with business leaders to develop HR strategies that align with organizational goals and objectives.
- Drive the performance management process, including goal setting, performance reviews, and talent development planning.
- Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives to foster a culture of belonging and respect.
- Act as a change agent, providing guidance and support to managers and employees during periods of change.
- Oversee the design and implementation of training programs that address company-wide learning needs.
- Analyze HR metrics to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Manage workplace issues and conflicts, including human rights and harassment.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement of people systems, processes, and practices.
- Ensure compliance with WSIB legislation and conduct reporting on key performance indicators related to health and safety.
- Lead the design, implementation, and management of the compensation structure.
- Oversee and manage the growth aspects of HR, including succession planning and mentoring programs.
- Stay current with HR trends, laws, and regulations, ensuring compliance and recommending updates to policies and procedures as needed.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a post-secondary diploma is an asset.
- Minimum of 8 years of progressive HR experience, preferably in a Business Partner or similar role.
- Proven track record of building strong relationships with stakeholders and influencing business outcomes.
- Solid understanding of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate and communicate across all levels of the organization.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- CHRL designation is an asset.
