Job Title: Senior Human Resources Business Partner

Southbridge Health Care LP is a leading provider of Long-Term Care Homes and Retirement Homes in Ontario. We are seeking a Senior Human Resources Business Partner to deliver expert support and guidance to our Corporate office and leaders of our LTC and Retirement homes.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Provide strategic HR guidance to our team of HR Business Partners, ensuring they deliver high-quality HR services across the organization.
  2. Collaborate with business leaders to develop HR strategies that align with organizational goals and objectives.
  3. Drive the performance management process, including goal setting, performance reviews, and talent development planning.
  4. Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives to foster a culture of belonging and respect.
  5. Act as a change agent, providing guidance and support to managers and employees during periods of change.
  6. Oversee the design and implementation of training programs that address company-wide learning needs.
  7. Analyze HR metrics to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  8. Manage workplace issues and conflicts, including human rights and harassment.
  9. Identify opportunities for continuous improvement of people systems, processes, and practices.
  10. Ensure compliance with WSIB legislation and conduct reporting on key performance indicators related to health and safety.
  11. Lead the design, implementation, and management of the compensation structure.
  12. Oversee and manage the growth aspects of HR, including succession planning and mentoring programs.
  13. Stay current with HR trends, laws, and regulations, ensuring compliance and recommending updates to policies and procedures as needed.
Requirements:
  1. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a post-secondary diploma is an asset.
  2. Minimum of 8 years of progressive HR experience, preferably in a Business Partner or similar role.
  3. Proven track record of building strong relationships with stakeholders and influencing business outcomes.
  4. Solid understanding of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations.
  5. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate and communicate across all levels of the organization.
  6. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  7. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  8. CHRL designation is an asset.
