Mental Health Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Mental Health Tech to join our team at McLean Hospital. As a Mental Health Tech, you will play a vital role in providing direct patient care and participating in therapeutic milieu.
Key Responsibilities- Provide accurate and timely documentation of patient progress and observations
- Establish therapeutic relationships with patients and maintain professional boundaries
- Identify patient behaviors that contribute to crisis situations and utilize de-escalation techniques
- Participate in planning and implementation of patient groups and activities
- Assist patients with activities of daily living and provide support as needed
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous experience in mental health or a related field preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
