About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our User Management team in Vancouver. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining complex software systems that enable user and team administration within Asana.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop scalable, efficient, and secure software systems for user and team management
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, design, and QA, to ensure seamless integration and delivery of features
  • Develop and maintain high-quality code, adhering to industry standards and best practices
  • Participate in code reviews, provide feedback, and mentor junior engineers to ensure technical excellence
  • Contribute to the development of technical roadmaps, architecture, and technical debt reduction strategies
  • Work closely with customers and stakeholders to understand their needs and identify opportunities for improvement
Requirements
  • 8+ years of experience in software engineering, with a focus on user management and administration
  • Strong understanding of software design patterns, architecture, and scalability
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C++
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies and version control systems like Git
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Passion for mentoring and coaching junior engineers
