About the Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior UI/Frontend Software Engineer to join our team at Take-Two Interactive Software. As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our company's interactive entertainment products.

Job Summary

The Senior UI/Frontend Software Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality user interfaces and frontend applications for our games and platforms. You will work closely with our design and product teams to bring innovative ideas to life and ensure seamless user experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop responsive, accessible, and performant user interfaces using modern front-end technologies such as React, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize features, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality products.
  • Develop and maintain automated testing frameworks to ensure the quality and reliability of our frontend applications.
  • Work with our operations team to build and maintain our CI/CD pipelines and ensure smooth deployment of our products.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to the growth and development of our engineering team.

Requirements

  • 5-7 years of professional experience in software engineering, with a strong focus on frontend development.
  • Strong experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, including ES6 and modern front-end technologies.
  • Experience with automated testing frameworks, such as Jest or Mocha.
  • Experience with React in a production environment, including state management and routing.
  • Experience with accessibility and SEO best practices.
  • Experience with web performance and monitoring, including load time optimizations and runtime optimizations.
  • Familiarity with modern front-end tools such as Webpack, Rollup, or Parcel.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with SVG animations and graphics.
  • Experience with GraphQL and server-side rendering.
  • Experience with Typescript and CSS-in-JS.
  • Experience with Electron and progressive web applications.
  • Experience in the games industry or with similar interactive entertainment products.
