About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Bookkeeper to join our team at SEVENTEEN TRANSPORT LTD. as a key member of our finance department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers, journals, and accounts payable/receivable.
  • Accounting and Bookkeeping: Prepare and reconcile financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Tax Compliance: Prepare and submit tax returns, including GST/HST and other relevant taxes.
  • Payroll Administration: Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll, including deductions and benefits.
  • Financial Analysis: Provide financial analysis and insights to management, including budgeting and forecasting.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Work Schedule: 37.5 hours per week.
