About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team at Lake Side Company Ltd. As a Painter, you will be responsible for preparing, cleaning, and sanding surfaces to be painted, as well as repairing cracks and holes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Surface Preparation: Prepare, clean, and sand surfaces to be painted, ensuring a smooth finish.
  • Repair and Maintenance: Repair cracks and holes in surfaces, and perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure surfaces are in good condition.
  • Painting and Finishing: Apply paint, wallpaper, and other materials to interior and exterior surfaces, ensuring a high-quality finish.
  • Equipment Operation: Operate various equipment and machinery, including brush painting, conventional spray painting, and multi-ratio pump spraying.
  • Testing and Quality Control: Use wet micron gauges and dry micron gauges to test surfaces and ensure quality control.
  • Surface Preparation Experience: Perform drywall taping and patching, steam cleaning, and flame cleaning to prepare surfaces for painting.
  • Coating and Application Specialization: Apply aggregate painting, novelty and decorative effects, gas proofing materials, and paint spraying to surfaces.
  • Wall Covering Specialization: Install wallpaper, vinyl, and wood veneers on walls and surfaces.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Work in a physically demanding environment, requiring attention to detail, hand-eye coordination, and ability to distinguish between colors. Lift and move heavy objects (over 45 kg/100 lbs) as needed.
  • Personal Suitability: Demonstrate client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, flexibility, initiative, reliability, and teamwork skills.
