Job Title: Concrete Finisher - Surface Specialist
About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Concrete Finisher to join our team at Sibwest Inc. as a Surface Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality finish on concrete surfaces, working closely with our construction team to deliver exceptional results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Fill hollows and remove spots on freshly poured cement to achieve a smooth finish.
- Operate power vibrators to compact concrete and level top surfaces according to grade and depth specifications.
- Impart desired finishes to concrete surfaces using hand and power tools.
- Install anchor bolts, steel plates, door sills, and other fixtures as required.
- Apply hardening and sealing components to cure surfaces and restore them to their original condition.
- Repair, resurface, and replace worn or damaged sections of concrete structures.
- Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate execution of tasks.
Requirements:
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in concrete finishing.
- Permanent employment with a competitive salary and benefits package.
- 35 hours of work per week.
- English language proficiency.
