We are seeking an experienced Big Data Application Programmer to join our team at Axelon Services Corporation. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing advanced data analytics solutions using Big Data technologies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create and deliver client profitability frameworks and reporting tools to accurately measure revenues, capital, and returns for Institutional and Corporate Clients.
  • Design, execute, and build automated solutions to generate profitability models and make them available through various distribution channels.
  • Build processes and tools to maintain high data availability, quality, and maintainability.
  • Engage with business partners to understand their needs and provide suggestions/guidance on appropriate solutions to solve their problems with pros/cons articulated clearly.
  • Drive internal proof of concept initiatives and quickly design and implement prototypes of systems or components with proper architecture.
Requirements
  • 5-7 years of experience in Application Development in Big Data.
  • 3-5 years of experience working with Spark, Python, PySpark.
  • 3-5 years of experience working with Data Modeling & DWH Designing, PL/SQL, and HQLs, Hadoop, Hive, ETL Designing.
  • Team player and self-motivator.
  • Good communications skills.
  • Keen eye for identifying potential design flaws and proposing alternative solutions.
Education

Bachelor's degree/University degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline.
