Axelon Services Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Big Data Application Programmer to join our team. As a key member of our Client Profitability solution, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing advanced technology solutions to drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities:- Create and deliver a client profitability framework and reporting tools to accurately measure revenues, capital, and returns for Institutional and Corporate Clients.
- Design, execute, and build automated solutions to generate profitability models and make it available through various distribution channels.
- Build processes and tools to maintain high data availability, quality, and maintainability.
- Translate business concepts to technical terms and engage with business partners to understand their needs and provide suggestions/guidance on appropriate solutions.
- Drive internal proof of concept initiatives and apply creative thinking to determine technical solutions that further business goals.
- 5-7 years of experience in Application Development in Big Data.
- 3-5 years of experience working with Spark, Python, PySpark.
- 3-5 years of experience working with Data Modeling & DWH Designing, PL/SQL and HQLs, Hadoop, Hive, ETL Designing.
- Team player and self-motivator with good communications skills.
- Keen eye for identifying potential design flaws and proposing alternative solutions.
Bachelor's degree/University degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline.
