Job Description

Axelon Services Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Big Data Application Developer to join our team. As a key member of our data platform team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing advanced data analytics solutions to drive business growth and decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Client Profitability Framework: Develop and deliver a comprehensive client profitability framework and reporting tools to accurately measure revenues, capital, and returns for institutional and corporate clients.
  • Automated Solutions: Design, execute, and build automated solutions to generate profitability models and make them available through various distribution channels.
  • Data Availability and Quality: Build processes and tools to maintain high data availability, quality, and maintainability.
  • Business-Technical Translation: Translate business concepts into technical terms and provide guidance on appropriate solutions to solve business problems.
  • Proof of Concept Initiatives: Drive internal proof of concept initiatives and design and implement prototypes of systems or components with proper architecture.
Requirements:
  • Experience: 5-7 years of experience in application development in big data.
  • Technical Skills: 3-5 years of experience working with Spark, Python, PySpark, Data Modeling & DWH Designing, PL/SQL, and HQLs, Hadoop, Hive, ETL Designing.
  • Soft Skills: Team player, self-motivator, good communication skills, and a keen eye for identifying potential design flaws.
Education:

Bachelor's degree/University degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline.
