About the Role

Rice Point is seeking a highly skilled Case Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for devising and implementing scalable client management services methodologies and processes that support our Class Action services.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Manage Complex Projects: Oversee multi-million dollar class action settlements, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
  2. Coordinate with Internal and External Teams: Collaborate with internal resources and third-party vendors to develop project plans that meet settlement agreements.
  3. Lead and Manage Teams: Supervise teams in multiple locations, providing direction, coordination, and performance management.
  4. Supervise and Train Staff: Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and performance of managed staff, including training, performance evaluation, and disciplinary actions.
  5. Work with Executive Management: Collaborate with the Executive Management team on contracts, pricing, profitability, staffing, and labor utilization.
  6. Identify Opportunities for Growth: Analyze data to identify opportunities for upselling and work closely with the Business Development team to provide pricing and recommendations.
  7. Oversee Budget and Invoicing: Ensure accuracy of settlement budgets and client billing, as well as adherence to production and quality standards.
  8. Communicate Project Status: Review project deliverables and communicate with company executives regarding project statuses.
Requirements
  1. Education: Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university.
  2. Experience: 2+ years of experience in project management, preferably in finance or legal capacity.
  3. Staff Management: Proven track record of managing, motivating, and holding a team accountable.
  4. Analysis and Problem-Solving: Strong analysis and problem-solving skills with a focus on attention to detail.
  5. Self-Motivation and Organization: Self-starter with excellent organizational skills and ability to self-direct and prioritize initiatives.
Preferred Qualifications
  1. Professional Certifications: PMI, PMP, MBA, or accounting designation.
  2. Class Action Knowledge: Working knowledge of class actions and settlements.
