Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced District Loss Prevention Manager to join our team at TJX Canada. As a key member of our Asset Protection team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to reduce shrink and protect our assets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute shrink reduction programs at the store level
  • Maintain and reduce district shrink
  • Train and develop store management and associates on loss prevention issues
  • Develop and maintain internal partnerships with associates at all levels of the organization and external partnerships with LP representatives in the community
  • Manage budgets for floor walkers, audits, and other LP initiatives
  • Conduct and support internal investigations
  • Manage expenses to plan, including cell, travel, and mileage
Requirements
  • College diploma or university degree an asset
  • Minimum three years of previous/equivalent working experience
  • Provincial security license required (some provinces)
  • Advanced knowledge of LP, including investigating cases of crime or neglect, managing cases, and following legal guidelines and requirements
  • Ability to conduct interviews of dishonest associates
  • Strong communication and issue management skills
  • Project management skills, including ensuring accuracy of calculations and analyzing internal and external surveys
  • Working knowledge of CCTV applications
  • Staff management skills, including participating in recruitment, selection, and orientation of staff
  • Computer skills, including word processing, spreadsheet creation, and LP transaction management
