Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Technician to join our team at Paladin Technologies. As a Senior Technician, you will play a critical role in the installation, maintenance, and repair of security systems, including CCTV cameras, access control systems, and intrusion alarms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install, program, and configure security systems to meet client specifications and industry standards.
  • Conduct routine maintenance and inspections to ensure the continued functionality and reliability of security systems.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum client satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate cabling systems with other network infrastructure components.
  • Provide expert guidance and solutions to clients, ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction through effective communication and professionalism.
  • Maintain accurate records of system installations, maintenance activities, and repairs, preparing detailed reports and acceptance test plans as needed.
  • Train clients and end-users on the operation of security systems to maximize their effectiveness and ease of use.
  • Stay up-to-date with advancements in security technology, regulations, and industry best practices, continuously improving technical skills through training and certifications.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and compliance standards related to security systems installation and maintenance.
Requirements
  • Progressive experience in a technical role within the integrated security or low-voltage industry.
  • Previous experience leading installations at the site level is preferred.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in the use of relevant tools and equipment.
  • Programming experience preferred for senior positions.
  • Vendor Certification in low-voltage systems is preferred.
  • Valid TQ certification preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to learn and work on different systems, such as AV and data structuring, will be an asset.
  • Valid Driver's License and clean abstract.
