We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Technician to join our team at Paladin Technologies. As a Senior Technician, you will play a critical role in the installation, maintenance, and repair of security systems, including CCTV cameras, access control systems, and intrusion alarms.
Key Responsibilities- Install, program, and configure security systems to meet client specifications and industry standards.
- Conduct routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs to ensure the continued functionality and reliability of security systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate cabling systems with other network infrastructure components.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum client satisfaction.
- Provide expert guidance and solutions to clients, ensuring their security needs are met and exceeded.
- Maintain accurate records of system installations, maintenance activities, and repairs, preparing detailed reports and acceptance test plans as required.
- Train clients and end-users on the operation of security systems, maximizing their effectiveness and ease of use.
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in security technology, regulations, and industry best practices, continuously improving technical skills through training and certifications.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and compliance standards related to security systems installation and maintenance.
- Perform administrative duties, including project updates and documentation.
- Progressive experience in a technical role within the integrated security or low-voltage industry.
- Previous experience leading installations at the site level is preferred.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in the use of relevant tools and equipment.
- Programming experience preferred for senior positions.
- Vendor Certification in low voltage systems is preferred.
- Valid TQ certification preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to travel 50-70% of the time.
