Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Program Coordinator to support the planning, implementation, and evaluation of our self-management program. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Scheduling and Coordination
    • Schedule workshops, seminars, and events
    • Coordinate with speakers, vendors, and volunteers
    • Manage event logistics, including room bookings and catering
  • Community Engagement
    • Develop and maintain relationships with community partners and stakeholders
    • Engage in public speaking and presentations to promote the program
    • Collaborate with self-management coordinators to build partnerships with healthcare providers and community organizations
  • Administrative Support
    • Provide administrative support to the self-management team
    • Assist with data entry, reporting, and budget tracking
    • Order supplies and maintain inventory
  • Marketing and Promotion
    • Develop and distribute marketing materials, including flyers and advertisements
    • Compile and analyze feedback from events and create reports
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Certificate or degree in office business administration or a related field
    • Experience in health promotion and working with a multidisciplinary team
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Excellent communication, organizational, and planning skills
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
    • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office and other software applications
  • Personal Qualities
    • Strong customer service skills
    • Ability to set priorities and cope with a demanding environment
    • Regular attendance and flexibility to work occasional evenings and early mornings
