About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Fitness Leader to join our team at British Swim School Brampton. As a Fitness Leader, you will be responsible for leading fitness programs for our students, ensuring a safe and engaging environment for all participants.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement fitness programs for students of various ages and skill levels
  • Lead group fitness classes, focusing on aquatic activities and exercises
  • Assess student progress and provide feedback to improve their fitness levels
  • Collaborate with other instructors to create a comprehensive fitness program
  • Ensure a safe and inclusive environment for all students
Requirements
  • College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years, or equivalent experience
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field
  • Free parking available on site
  • Support for newcomers and refugees, including foreign credential recognition and diversity training
  • Support for Indigenous people, including cultural competency training
  • Support for visible minorities, including hiring policies and diversity training
  • 30 hours per week, with flexible scheduling to accommodate student needs
