Job Title: Guidewire Domain ArchitectJob Description:Role Purpose:

The purpose of the Domain Architect role is to define end-to-end solutions for IT change focusing on the Guidewire Insurance suite. This includes creating Guidewire centric designs that are fit for purpose from a functional, non-functional, service, and security point of view.

The Domain Architect will deliver solutions that progress the overall architecture journey and are aligned to LTIMindtree's IT Strategy. This role will also ensure compliance with standards, design approaches, and governance.

Accountabilities:

The Domain Architect will be responsible for:

  1. Creating solutions and designs for Guidewire Insurance platform (Guidewire PolicyCenter, Guidewire ClaimCenter, Guidewire BillingCenter, Guidewire Contact Mgr.) based projects to meet LTIMindtree's standards for technology and ensure they meet our ambitions for availability, security, resilience, and performance.
  2. Producing Guidewire design and migration options with associated costs, benefits, and risks to enable investment decisions.
  3. Creating migration solutions to convert policies from legacy systems to Guidewire PolicyCenter.
  4. Working with product owners, enterprise architects, platform teams, and other project colleagues to agree trade-offs between long-term and short-term goals.
  5. Ensuring the integrity of the end-to-end Guidewire solution across platforms, including transition states used to achieve the target state.
  6. Shaping and estimating IT initiatives and feature team sprints, ensuring that component parts deliver against business outcomes.
  7. Communicating complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  8. Recording any solution debt incurred during the transition phase of the solution and addressing the same in future phases.
  9. Identifying potential risks and challenges associated with proposed solutions.
  10. Developing mitigation strategies to address identified risks.
  11. Participating in post-implementation reviews and providing feedback to improve future solution designs.
Technical Leadership:

The Domain Architect will also be responsible for:

  1. Keeping up with technological developments in the Guidewire platform, Guidewire integration, and evaluating how well they fit into the company's architecture.
  2. Evaluating Guidewire Cloud Platform features, assessing its capabilities against business needs, and recommending for adoption.
  3. Supporting the definition of architecture best practices and standards in the Guidewire space and enforcing them in project solutions.
  4. Conducting architecture reviews to ensure compliance with established guidelines.
  5. Ensuring design artefacts are produced to support stakeholder groups for service, security, architecture, and engineering.
  6. Peer reviewing the design artefacts of others.
  7. Providing coaching, mentoring, and training to less experienced team members as required.
