McCormick Canada is seeking an experienced HR Business Partner I to join our team. As a key member of our HR department, you will play a critical role in supporting the organization's short and long-range goals and objectives.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide consultation and direction to client groups to establish relevant functional goals and objectives.
- Recruit, train, coach, and mentor employees to support consistent adoption and adherence of programs, policies, and procedures.
- Identify and define employee engagement opportunities and provide input into departmental structure and design.
- Act as the horizontal process owner to develop, implement, and administer HR programs, policies, procedures, and practices consistently across client groups.
- Drive HR process improvement, special projects, and effective change management programs/initiatives from idea through implementation.
- Act as the first point of contact for Employee Relations matters, providing coaching, guidance, and support to leadership in employee relations matters.
- Support internal and external hourly recruitment activities, including providing support to Operations Team and completing system workflow processes.
- Manage several HR programs, including overseeing Rewards & Recognition Programs, facilitating Performance Management Process, and leading other HR program initiatives as required.
- University Degree in Business, Human Resources, Psychology, or related field.
- CHRL designation.
- Minimum 5 years of related progressive HR experience.
- Employee relations and investigation experience.
- Strong verbal, written, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to manage projects and people, and organize and prioritize work to meet deadlines.
- Strong personal leadership and business sense.
- Strong customer focus.
- Strong ethical behavior and professional maturity.
