Job Title: HR Business Partner

McCormick & Company is a leading spice and seasoning manufacturer with a strong commitment to employee development and growth. We are seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to join our team in Canada.

Job Summary

The HR Business Partner will act as a strategic partner to internal customers and their leadership teams, developing and implementing programs and initiatives that support and enable the organization's short and long-range goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide consultation and direction to client groups to establish relevant functional goals and objectives, recruit, train, coach, and mentor employees, and support consistent adoption and adherence of programs, policies, and procedures.
  • Act as the horizontal process owner to develop, implement, and administer HR programs, policies, procedures, and practices consistently across client groups in support of McCormick's philosophy and core values.
  • Drive HR process improvement, special projects, and effective change management programs/initiatives from idea through implementation.
  • Act as the first point of contact for Employee Relations matters, providing coaching, guidance, and support to leadership in employee relations matters, guiding principal-based decisions, and conveying HR policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • University degree in Business, Human Resources, Psychology, or related field.
  • CHRL designation.
  • Minimum 5 years of related progressive HR experience.
  • Employee relations and investigation experience.
  • Strong verbal, written, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to manage projects and people, and organize and prioritize work to meet deadlines.
  • Strong personal leadership and business sense.
  • Strong customer focus.
  • Strong ethical behavior and professional maturity.
