Position Overview

Southbridge Care Homes is seeking a skilled Project Manager to lead redevelopment and capital expenditure initiatives within the long-term care sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the comprehensive planning, execution, and monitoring of these critical projects. A strong background in engaging with design professionals and construction teams is essential to ensure that all work aligns with contractual obligations, timelines, and financial parameters.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Vice President of Development to define project scope.
  • Develop a comprehensive work plan that outlines and sequences necessary activities for project success.
  • Identify and allocate resources essential for project completion.
  • Create a detailed schedule that effectively manages resources and timelines.
  • Review project timelines with senior management and adjust as necessary to accommodate project dynamics.
  • Establish objectives and metrics for project evaluation upon completion.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external consultants to ensure design and specification accuracy.
  • Engage qualified consultants and engineers as needed for project execution.
  • Document all project activities meticulously.
  • Monitor project progress and make adjustments to ensure timely and budget-compliant completion.
  • Regularly assess the quality of work against Southbridge standards.
  • Prepare management reports detailing project status and outcomes.
  • Oversee budget expenditures and ensure compliance with accounting policies.
  • Maintain up-to-date financial records for all project-related activities.
  • Ensure deliverables meet quality standards, timelines, and budget constraints.
  • Evaluate project outcomes based on established criteria.

Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Proficient in project management methodologies and tools.
  • Experienced in scheduling and budgeting software, including MS Office.
