Job Title: Front Desk Agent

Miette Mountain Cabins is seeking a skilled Front Desk Agent to join our team. As a Front Desk Agent, you will be the first point of contact for our guests and will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities:
  • Investigate and resolve guest complaints and issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Register arriving guests, assign rooms, and provide information on hotel facilities and services.
  • Process guest departures, calculate charges, and receive payments.
  • Maintain an inventory of vacancies, reservations, and room assignments.
  • Follow emergency and safety procedures.
  • Perform clerical duties, such as faxing, filing, and photocopying.
  • Answer telephones and relay messages.
  • Contact guests to deliver wake-up calls.
  • Provide general information about points of interest in the area.
Requirements:
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Will train.
  • Multi-line switchboard experience.
  • Word processing software skills.
  • Database software skills.
  • Computerized bookkeeping system experience.
  • Central reservation system (CRS) experience.
  • Internet skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Standing for extended periods.
  • Work under pressure.
Work Environment:

Miette Mountain Cabins is a hotel, motel, and resort located in a beautiful mountain setting. The work environment is fast-paced and requires attention to detail.

Language:

English is the primary language spoken in the workplace.

Hours:

30 to 40 hours per week.
