Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Server to join our team at East Side Mario's Oakville. As a Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, ensuring a seamless dining experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service
    • Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
    • Present menus and make recommendations to customers, ensuring they have a clear understanding of our offerings.
    • Take orders and relay them to the kitchen and bar staff in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Food and Beverage Service
    • Prepare and serve specialty food and beverages to customers, ensuring they are presented in a visually appealing manner.
    • Describe menu items, including daily specials, to customers and make recommendations based on their preferences.
    • Present bills to customers and accept payment in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Inventory Management
    • Order and maintain inventory of wines and wine glassware, ensuring we have a sufficient supply to meet customer demand.
    • Perform sensory evaluation of wines to ensure they meet our quality standards.
  • Work Environment
    • Work in a fast-paced environment, ensuring you can multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
    • Stand for extended periods, bending, crouching, and kneeling as needed to perform duties.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience
    • Will train.
  • Language
    • Fluent in English.
  • Work Hours
    • 35 hours per week.
